God Bless You, President-Elect, Barack Obama!

Well we've prayed, informed and at the end of the day, I believe God has chosen His set man for 'such a time as this'.

God is Sovereign!

This is what I encourage myself with. As a believer and follower of Christ, it is my responsibility to respect, honor and pray for who God has put into place. I am also accountable to God to pray for the leader of my country and perhaps, for a time, who will be the most influential leader in the world...Barack Obama.

At the same time, I am obligated to "cry aloud and spare not" should Obama or anyone else, especially leaders, seek to put ungodly and abominable laws, into place, that will bring detriment to us and cause the wrath of God to increase within our borders.

I also believe that we should be very careful how we speak about Obama. Anyone who's read this blog will have noticed that while I openly exposed and brought to your attention unholy alliances and promises made by our president elect, I refrained from judging his character. Only God knows the heart of our future president. I've always cringed when I heard people speak so rudely and with denigrating disrespect of our current president, George Bush. We are not going to be able to bless our president and curse him at the same time. If we agree with what he does, let's praise him for it. However, should he do wrong, let us tell him the truth in love, remain uncompromising in our Christian convictions, not succumbing to worldly seduction, while still speaking as Christ would have us to.

Let us keep President Elect Obama and his family covered in our prayers for God to protect and shield them from all of the enemies foul plans. We must earnestly pray for the Lord to strengthen, anoint, encourage, protect, keep and use Mr. Obama mightily for His glory.

I believe God has seen something in Barack Obama that many of us have missed. Let us trust God to influence His heart and radically change his mind about many of the issues that we know are grievous to the Father's heart. I pray that Barack Obama come into a wonderful vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and personally come to know Him as Lord and Master.

"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." Prov 21:1

So, child of God, our job is to speak blessing, trust God and pray without ceasing!

Obama-Farrakhan Ties Are Close, Ex-Farrakhan Aide Says

A former top deputy to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan tells Newsmax that Barack Obama’s ties to the black nationalist movement in Chicago run deep, and that for many years the two men have had “an open line between them” to discuss policy and strategy, either directly or through intermediaries.
“Remember that for years, if you were a politician in Chicago, you had to have some type of relationship with Louis Farrakhan. You had to. If you didn’t, you would be ostracized out of black Chicago,” said Dr. Vibert White Jr., who spent most of his adult life as a member and ultimately top officer of the Nation of Islam.
White broke with the group in 1995 and is now a professor of African-American history at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
White said Obama was “part of the Chicago scene” where Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and radicals would go to each other’s events and support each other’s causes.
“Even though Chicago is the third-largest city in the country, within the black community, the political and militant nationalist community is very small. So it wouldn’t be uncommon for [Obama and Farrakhan] to show up at events together, or at least be there and communicate with each other,” White told Newsmax.
The Anti-Defamation League has denounced Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam as a “hate group.”
Farrakhan has called Jews “bloodsuckers,” “satanic” and accused them of running the slave trade. He has labeled gays as “degenerates.” In a 2006 speech, the ADL again condemned Farrakhan when he said: “These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood that is seeding the American people and the people of the world and bringing you down in moral strength. … It's the wicked Jews the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality. It's wicked Jews, false Jews that make it a crime for you to preach the word of God, then they call you homophobic!"
Obama was careful to “denounce” Farrakhan’s comments – but not the man -- during the Democratic primary season earlier this year, but only after Hillary Clinton called him out for benefiting from Farrakhan’s support.
Farrakhan endorsed Obama in a videotaped speech to his followers at Mosque Miryam in Chicago in February. “You are the instruments that God is gonna use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth,” Farrakhan said.
He told the crowd that Obama was the new “messiah.” See Video:
Once the news media and the Clinton campaign got hold of those comments from Farrakhan, demands mounted from all sides that Obama “renounce” Farrakhan.
But as he has done repeatedly throughout this campaign, Obama was careful to parse his words.
“You know, I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan's anti-Semitic comments,” he said during one appearance on “Meet the Press.” “I think that they are unacceptable and reprehensible.”
Obama hastened to point out that Farrakhan had been praising him as “an African-American who seems to be bringing the country together. I obviously can't censor him, but it is not support that I sought. And we’re not doing anything, I assure you, formally or informally with Minister Farrakhan.”
But Obama, once again, was less than candid.
In 1995, according to a profile of Obama that appeared in the Chicago Reader newspaper, Obama “took time off from attending campaign coffees to attend October’s Million Man March in Washington, D.C.”
At the time, Obama was running for the Illinois Senate from Chicago’s South Side, a seat he won after getting surrogates to challenge the signatures on nominating petitions for his chief rival, the incumbent Alice Palmer.
The march, which fell far short of attracting the million men it advertised, was organized by Farrakhan and by Obama’s then-pastor, the anti-white black nationalist Wright.
Obama spoke at length with the Chicago Reader upon his return from the Million Man March. “What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society," he said.
“These are mean, cruel times, exemplified by a ‘lock ’em up, take no prisoners’ mentality that dominates the Republican-led Congress,” Obama said.
“Historically, African-Americans have turned inward and towards black nationalism whenever they have a sense, as we do now, that the mainstream has rebuffed us, and that white Americans couldn't care less about the profound problems African-Americans are facing."
“Black nationalism” is a current of thought and political action in the African-American community that has been championed by the likes of Farrakhan, Wright, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers and Khalid al-Mansour. Obama discussed his attraction to black nationalism at length in his 1995 memoir “Dreams of My Father.”
Obama further parsed his words in a Feb. 25, 2008, presentation to a Jewish community meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, where he insisted that Wright “does not have a close relationship with Louis Farrakhan.”
And yet, just months earlier, Wright’s Trumpet magazine gave Farrakhan its Lifetime Achievement Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award, saying that Farrakhan “truly epitomized greatness.”
That award was the fruit of a long and deep relationship between the two men, White told Newsmax. In 1984, Wright accompanied Farrakhan on his much-criticized trip to meet Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, at a time when Gadhafi was considered an enemy of the United States.
Wright also accompanied Farrakhan and Jackson to Syria in 1986, where they successfully negotiated with Syrian strongman for the release of downed American pilot Robert O. Goodman.
On Obama's speaking style:
In addition to the ideological affinity Obama expressed for the black nationalist movement, White believes that Obama owes much of his success as a public orator to speaking techniques that Farrakhan developed over the years, and exploited for years to great success.
“If you listen to the rhetoric and you take away Obama’s political jargon, you hear a religious tenor to it that is very much Nation of Islam-like. I don’t know if anyone has ever touched on it, but Obama’s speaking style is very Malcolm-like, very Farrakhan-like,” White said.
Any American who has listened to early radio or television interviews of Obama can hear how dramatically Obama’s speaking style has changed since he became a United States senator.
In clips dating from 2001 and even early 2004, Obama speaks haltingly and in long, rambling sentences packed with legalese and dense pseudo-academic rhetoric. But not today.
“As a former minister of the Nation of Islam, I know how they speak,” White told Newsmax. “I don’t know who was training Obama. But that style is not a ministerial style like in the Christian church. It’s a Nation of Islam style.”
White began in the late 1970s as a foot soldier in the Fruit of Islam, the military branch of Farrakhan’s Black Muslim group, then rose to become a minister of the Nation of Islam and a top deputy to Farrakhan himself.
Known initially as Brother Vibert L.X., and later as Minister V.L. Muhammad, he parted ways with Farrakhan not long after the Million Man March, after nearly 25 years within the organization.
White’s 2002 book “Inside the Nation of Islam” prompted death threats by Farrakhan loyalists, so he left Illinois and moved to Florida to teach at the University of Central Florida.
He told Newsmax that Obama’s remarkable speaking style, even his manner of standing at a podium to appear larger than life, is directly copied from Farrakhan.
“If the Nation of Islam can’t do anything else, it can train people how to speak. And nobody can outspeak a Muslim minister,” he said.
Earlier this year, a pro-Clinton blog run by former CIA officer Larry Johnson unearthed a 2004 photograph showing Michelle Obama and Farrakahn’s wife, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan, at an event hosted by Jackson’s Citizenship Education Foundation.
Newsmax queried Obama’s U.S. Senate office, his Chicago office and his campaign press office about his ties to Farrakhan, but did not receive a reply.
Ever since he appeared before the annual policy conference of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee in June, Obama has attempted to convince the Jewish community that he is pro-Israel.
But his longstanding ties to Farrakhan, Wright and Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi, among others, have disturbed many Jewish community leaders.
Sen. John McCain publicly chastised The Los Angeles Times on Thursday for not releasing a videotape the newspaper said it possessed of a 2003 dinner for Khalidi, where Obama reportedly accused Israel of carrying out a “genocide” against the Palestinians.

Not ALL Young Blacks Are Voting for Obama

Well dear hearts, today I am going to keep things short and sweet. It is so encouraging to learn that there are yet some among us who think for themselves. They weigh the situation, do their homework and connect the dots. This young man get's it.

Check him out, he's a young musician. He is a definitely a 'now' and 'happening' brother. He's speaking the truth, even though for some it may be a bit raw, but he's keepin' it real y'all. He's keeping it real real and I am loving it.

Some Things Should NEVER Change

If you've been checking my blog recently, you will have realized that I haven't written anything new for a few days already. Why? My computer just stopped working. It didn't even turn on. However, Praise the Lord! it is back up and running again.

There is tremendous talk these days about the economy. Oddly enough, there are many people who actually believe that the very people who got us into this financial mess are the ones to turn things around. How strange! Of course, I am very much interested in the nation's economy. After all, the state of our economy will have some affect on me and on everyone in the United States and even the entire world. However, our nation, not only influences the global economy, but we have been at the lead when it comes to making a moral and spiritual impact on the world. We used to be a country that put a high value on human life and this has made a marked impact for good around the world. Yet, sad to say, now we have greatly digressed from being a godly example of caring for the very least and most vulnerable among us...the unborn child.

I would like you to watch the following video that Concerned Women for America has put out recently. It is rightly entitled, "I Care About More" I am a PAL (Prayer Action Leader) with the local NYC chapter of CWA and stand, unashamedly, for life. I have to be honest, I have problems reconciling how we can care for the poor, but do not stand for the right to life. I do not believe we can divide the two. If I care for the poor, I automatically care for the poor baby who is barbarically assaulted in what should be the safest place for any baby to be...their mother's womb. However, because we are now living in a society that is in total rebellion against God, the mother's womb has become, for far too many, the most dangerous place for an infant to find him or herself in.

This coming Tuesday, November the 4th, you have the opportunity to vote for life or vote for death. By the way, two men can never produce life, neither can two women. Life comes forth only from a relationship between a man and a woman. The Iraq war is very important and so is our economy, education, health insurance, etc. However, there are two major issues, that are at the very core of who we are as human beings and they are critical to our basic existance as a people. These are the issues of marriage and abortion. Marriage is the bedrock of our society as God, not the American government, ordained it to be. Children are the reward and fruit of a union between a man and a woman. Family is important to God. If family is important to you, then you have only one choice to make and you will vote for the candidates promoting marriage between a man and a woman. If you love children, you will support the candidates who will help to preserve the right for children to grow up in a world less perverse and morally corrupt than what a certain element in our society would like to force our young and impressionable into. Bear in mind that the majority of individuals who are trying hard to influence our children to be accepting of "two mommies and two daddies" are those who will never be able to have children of their own. This is the 'hard to hear' truth, yet we better wise up to it and act with our vote before it is far too late.





While I myself am not of the catholic faith, I am certainly a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Why I Can't Vote For Obama

A few months ago I was asked for my perspective on Obama, I sent out an email with a few points. With the election just around the corner I decided to complete my perspective. Those of you on my e-list have seen some of this before but it's worth repeating...

First I must say whoever wins the election will have my prayer support. Obama needs to be commended for his accomplishments but I need to explain why I will not be voting for him. Many of my friends process their identity through their blackness. I process my identity through Christ. Being a Christian (a Christ follower) means He leads I follow. I can't dictate the terms He does because He is the leader. I can't vote black because I am black; I have to vote Christian because that's who I am. Christian first, black second. Neither should anyone from the other ethnic groups vote because of ethnicity. 200 years from now I won't be asked if I was black or white. I will be asked if I knew Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior.
In an election there are many issues to consider but when a society gets abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, human cloning to name a few, wrong economic concerns will soon not matter. We need to follow Martin Luther King's words, don't judge someone by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I don't know Obama so all I can go off is his voting record. To beat Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton as the most liberal senator, takes some doing. Obama accomplished this feat in 2 short years. I wonder what would happen to America if he had four years to work with. There is a reason Planned Parenthood gives him a 100 % rating. There is a reason the homosexual community supports him. There is a reason Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Castro, Hamas etc. love him. There is a reason he said he would nominate liberal judges to the Supreme Court. There is a reason he voted against the infanticide bill. There is a reason he voted No on the constitutional ban of same-sex marriage. There is a reason he voted No on banning partial birth abortion. There is a reason he voted No on confirming Justices Roberts and Alito. These two judges are conservatives and they have since overturned partial birth abortion. The same practice Obama wanted to continue. Let's take a look at the practice he wanted to continue The 5 Step Partial Birth Abortion procedures: A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps. (Remember this is a live baby) B. The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal. C. The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head. D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole. E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed. God help him.

There is a reason Obama opposed the parental notification law. Think about this: You can't give a kid an aspirin without parental notification but that same kid can have an abortion without parental notification. This is insane. There is a reason he went to Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years. Obama tells us he has good judgment but he sat under Jeremiah Wright teaching for 20 years. Now he is condemning Wright's sermons. I wonder why now? Obama said Jeremiah Wright led him to the Lord and discipled him. A disciple is one in training. Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19 - 20 'Go and make disciples of all nations.' This means reproduce yourself. Teach people to think like you, walk like you; talk like you believe what you believe etc. The question I have is what did Jeremiah Wright teach him? Would you support a White President who went to a church which has tenets that said they have a ...

1. Commitment to the White Community
2. Commitment to the White Family
3. Adherence to the White Work Ethic
4. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the White Community.
5. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting White Institutions
6. Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace the White Value System
7. Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System.

Would you support a President who went to a church like that? Just change the word from white to black and you have the tenets of Obama's former church. If President Bush was a member of a church like this, he would be called a racist. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been marching outside. This kind of church is a racist church. Obama did not wake up after 20 years and just discovered he went to a racist church. The church can't be about race. Jesus did not come for any particular race. He came for the whole world. A church can't have a value system based on race. The churches value system has to be based on biblical mandate. It does not matter if it's a white church or a black church, it's still wrong. Anyone, from either race, that attends a church like this would never get my vote. Obama's former Pastor Jeremiah Wright is a disciple of liberal theologian James Cone, author of the 1970 book, "A Black Theology of Liberation". Cone once wrote: 'Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. Cone is the man Obama's mentor looks up to. Does Obama believe this?

So what does all this mean for the nation? In the past when the Lord brought someone with the beliefs of Obama to lead a nation it meant one thing - judgment. Read 1 Samuel 8 when Israel asked for a king. First God says in 1 Samuel 1:9 'Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.' Then God says 1 Samuel 1:18:

"When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day.' 19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. 'No!' they said. 'We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.' 21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the LORD. 22 The LORD answered, 'Listen to them and give them a king.'

Here is what we know for sure:

God is not schizophrenic. He would not tell one person to vote for Obama and another to vote for McCain.

. As the scripture says, a city divided against itself cannot stand, so obviously many people are not hearing from God. Maybe I am the one not hearing but I know God does not change and Obama contradicts many things I read in scripture so I doubt it.

For all my friends who are voting for Obama can you really look God in the face and say:

Father based on your word, I am voting for Obama even though I know he will continue the genocidal practice of partial birth abortion. He might have to nominate three or four Supreme Court justices, and I am sure he will be nominating liberal judges who will be making laws that are against you. I also know he will continue to push for homosexual rights, even though you destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this. I know I can look the other way because of the economy. I could not see Jesus agreeing with many of Obama's positions.

Finally I have two questions for all my liberal friends. Since we know someone's value system has to be placed on the nation:

1. Whose value system should be placed on the nation?

2. Who should determine that this is the right value system for the nation?

Who's Responsible for the Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac Fiasco?

Okay, so as a nation we are facing one of the most serious financial crises we have ever faced in my lifetime. (I'm of the 'baby boomer' generation.) President Bush and his administration is trying feverishly to help the entire nation escape the looming threat of a second Depression. Of course, if our economy does not make it through this crisis, there will, no doubt, be an adverse domino effect throughout the entire world. Basically, what happened with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac has hurt everyone and it threatens to hurt us even more. In order for us to learn from the horrific lessons of this financial dilemma we must be not only willing to know how we got to this place in our nation's history, but we should actively be pursuing, investigating, how and why we are in the current economic mess that we're in. For those who wish to know the facts, I submit to you the following video, it is under 9 minutes long and is very much worth your time to watch. The following video is proof positive, that we did not have to experience the daunting financial realities that we are faced with now. Look, listen and learn:

Well so there you have it, plain and simple. The video you just watched is taken from 2004 hearings in Washington. In 2005, McCain warned against the very same thing. Now please bear in mind exactly which senator benefited the most, second only to Chris Dodd, from Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac donations...if you guessed, Senator Barack Obama, you guessed correctly. Please listen to this second report and see for yourself precisely who received what.

Now you and I have the option of either closing our eyes, covering our ears and keeping our mouths shut or we can face the difficult truth. Speaking as one who is a registered Democrat, I am not afraid to admit the truth and say clearly that the Democrats got it wrong. They got it dead wrong!!!

Greedy, ambitious CEO's, such as Frank Raines and his associates, used Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac dollars to line their own pockets, as well as pad and support the political coffers of prominent up and coming political hopefuls, like Barack Obama, in the Democratic party. Don't be naive, these huge financial "benefits" really was bribe money. "You let me do as I wish and I will pad your political treasury with hard cold cash". Well, my friends, like it or not, and as unfair as it is to us, we are all now dancing to the liberal left's tune of " I did it my way". Oh and by the way, for those of you who still insist on applauding former president Bill Clinton, you have him to thank for the F&F economic disaster, as well. Clinton was then president in office and it was he who spearheaded the charge to make sure the Democrats in Congress fought hard against any type of reasonable regulation that would have prevented the financial woes we presently are faced with today. You just heard him in the video. 'Good ole' Billie boy really saved the day alright.' Don't you believe it. Wake up people, if not for yourself, wake up for your family members and for those whom you love and are financially responsible for.

I leave you with this final thought for today: Should the exorbitant financial bailout fail us, which group in America would you suppose will suffer the most? It would be the poor and hurting. The same group whom the Democrats claim to defend and support. Those impoverished within our cities, rural areas, and on reservations will be the very ones who will be affected the most. What I am learning is that Democratic leaders on the Hill talk real big, but when the rubber meets the road, they have little to nothing to back up their talk with. Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac did not help matters, they did a whole lot more damage than help. In the long run they sold a dream, that turned into a bad nightmare, by placing homes in the hands of those who would not be able to sustain them. Giving false hope is nothing less than shamefully reprehensible.

7 1/2 Years of The Bush Administration

Since everyone is hearing of, speaking of, and furiously pursuing Change, I thought it would ge great to pass on a few interesting, very revealing, but unreported, hard reality facts that our media has conveniently forgotten to highlight. Someone recently sent me the following story:

7 & 1/2 YEARS OF GEORGE BUSH

TO ALL MY FRIENDS....LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE...FYI only.

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine.
A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
5) American's were buying new cars,taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!...

But Americans wanted 'CHANGE'!

So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got 'CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR:

1) Consumer confidence has plummeted;
2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!;
3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~
$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT! ....

REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS.

AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY GIVE US CHANGE ALONG WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!!

Obamania On The Rise

If the following article you are about to read is not scary then I do not know what is. I am speaking as someone who has lived in the world's largest communist nation for years, close to 2 decades and traveling to and from that country for almost 24. What you are about to read is just plain weird. The embedded video, which you absolutely must see, is downright spooky. It so mimics and reminds me of how I have seen the children of communist nations taught to enthusiastically sing their dictator's praise. Now I am not in any way insinuating that Obama is directly responsible for this Obamania (totally my term). However, I've got a pretty good idea who is behind the madness. I want to showcase just how far Obama fanaticism is on the rise in this nation. The boys are actually saying, "Alpha, Omega...repeatedly. And who, pray tell, are they referring to as the Alpha and Omega??? Read and Weep!

A middle school teacher has been suspended for posting a video of his Barack Obama-slogan chanting, arm-waving drill team on YouTube.
The report from Fox News said the teacher, whose name was being withheld by the school district, was suspended today for the video revealing his students chanting lines from Obama talking points and wearing military-style uniforms.
According to Fox News, the school learned about the posting of the video, called "Obama Youth – Junior Fraternity Regiment," and immediately took action.


It shows 10 black male students in 8th or 9th grades from the Urban Community Leadership Academy in Kansas City, a public charter school organized by the University of Central Missouri. They march in the room chanting,

"Alpha, omega, alpha, omega."

Although the immediate source of the phrase "alpha omega" likely traces to the black fraternity step team tradition, the deeper source derives from the book of Revelation, which refers to God as the "Alpha and Omega," the first and last letters of the classical alphabet.
That chant soon yields to, "Yes we can."
School superintendent Joyce McGautha was not pleased. She did not approve and does not condone the video. Not only was the teacher suspended, further drill activities were halted.

"Taxpayers have every reason to be upset," she said.
The superintendent said because of the "legal action that we'll probably have to take against the teacher," his identity would be withheld at this point.
The Fox News report said the students studied Obama's economic plan with the teacher, and the superintendent did not know whether the teacher or the students scripted the routine. The group should have also studied Republican John McCain's economic plan, the superintendent said.
The superintendent said many of the school's activities are recorded, and the teacher had been warned in a letter not to put it on the Internet.
Anonymous forum participants on the Fox News site were disdainful of the Democrats.
"The Democratic Party has become taken over by distorted closet socialists," said one.
"Why does this not surprise me in the least, coming from an Obama supporter?" said another. "He deserves to be fired and NEVER allowed to teach again!"
WND reported just last week when nearby Missouri law officials, including public prosecutors, who were reportedly planning to "respond immediately" to any misleading advertisements against Obama if they "might violate Missouri ethics laws," said they were backing off the intimidating implications of that report, promising they have no intention of prosecuting anyone.
As WND reported, prosecuting attorneys Bob McCulloch and Jennifer Joyce originally announced on KMOV-TV in St. Louis their participation in Obama's "Truth Squad," pledging to defend the candidate from untruthful ads with an undefined "immediate" response.
"Whether it is directly attributable to the (McCain) campaign or to one of the soft money operations," McCulloch told the station, "if they're not going to tell the truth, somebody's got to step up and say, 'That's not the truth. This is the truth.'"
The move prompted Missouri's governor to object that the prosecutors were using "police state tactics" to squelch information hurtful to the Obama campaign.
"What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words," wrote Gov. Matt Blunt in a statement. "The party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment."

Personally, I thought Palin did superbly when one considers that she was pitted next to the veteran senator known for his gift of gab.

Gibson & Couric Butchered Sarah Palin Interviews

Dear Beloved,

Just would like to give everyone a "heads up" with regard to the 2 infamous interviews done by Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric. They did a butchering job on Sarah Palin. Kindly read the following article I read two days ago, put out by http://www.newsmax.com/ It highlights some of the willful deception that newscasters, Gibson & Couric, dish out to their audience. Talk about shady and underhanded reporting, actually it's more like what's done in communist nations. I, personally, lived and worked in a communist nation for wellover a decade. While there, an elderly man, living in such an environment his entire life, told me, "the only news you can believe in our newspapers and television is...the date." Has American journalism become so base that lies and trickery are now acceptable practices?

CBS, ABC Distort Sarah Palin Interview
It is a tale of two con jobs.

As outlined in my previous LCR, ABC’s Charles Gibson interview of Sarah Palin was questionably edited. Now CBS has followed suit with the Katie Couric interview of the GOP vice presidential candidate.

A pattern of distortion has emerged. Both ABC and CBS cut answers by Palin; answers that would have indicated a more nuanced approach to foreign policy when it comes to the issue of multilateral diplomacy.

In the Couric interview, Palin answered a question that dealt with what the U.S. should do to convince Pakistan to take a harder line against terrorists.

“At a time when new leadership comes in, that is the opportunity to forge better, tighter, more productive relationships and that’s what we’ll take advantage of with new leadership in the U.S. and in Pakistan. And I’m sure that President Zardari, too, will agree with us as we commit to the support that Pakistan needs, that other nations in the region need, in order to win this war on terrorism,” Palin responded.
This question and answer were edited out. Could it be that Palin’s response did not serve CBS’s desired post-interview spin?

When Couric inquired about the implementation of democracy in other parts of the world, Palin answered, “Well, one is that America cannot be counted on to do this solely, to be the savior of every other nation, but we need friends and we need allies and we need this nation-building effort and we need to forge new alliances, and that is what a new election will provide opportunity to do.”
This response, too, was withheld from the public.

Could it be once again that CBS did not find the response to be consistent with the hawkish image of Palin that mainstream media are trying to cloak her with?

Similarly, Couric asked about instances when a democracy does not produce the desired outcome, such as in the election of Hamas.
“Especially in that region, though, we have got to protect those and support those who do seek democracy and do seek protections for the people who live there. And you know, we’re seeing today, in the last couple of days here in New York, a speaker, a president of Iran, Ahmadinejad, who would come on our soil and express such disdain for one of our closest allies and friends—Israel—and we’re hearing the evil that he speaks . . .
"If hearing him doesn’t allow Americans to commit more solidly to protecting the friends and allies that we need, especially there in the Mideast, then nothing will,” Palin responded.
“If Americans are not waking up to understand what it is that he represents, then nothing is going to wake us up and we will be lulled into some kind of false sense of security that perhaps Americans were a part of before 9/11,” she added.
Again CBS editors snipped away.

ABC News cut similar content from the Gibson interview.
Intelligent, thoughtful, reasoned responses edited out? Beyond shameful, this represents the utter corruption of the Fourth Estate.

As someone with training in journalism, I know full well that, by and large, the media is extremely biased to the left. If you have any doubt of this at all, just read Bernard Goldberg's book, which was a #1 New York Times Best Seller. I have. By the way, he, himself, is not a conservative, but a liberal with journalistic conscience (my term, not his). Here's an excerpt about the book:

In 1996, veteran CBS News reporter and producer Bernie Goldberg committed the unpardonable sin of publicly mentioning the issue of liberal bias in the media. For that he became persona non grata at CBS. Goldberg tells how friends and colleagues turned on him, from junior CBS reporters all the way to Dan Rather. But much more than that, he exposes a bias so uniform and overwhelming that it permeates every news story we hear and read- and so entrenched and deep rooted that the networks themselves don't even recognize it.

Many of you heard me say, repeatedly since March, that I was not too thrilled with any of the candidates running for office. I also said at that time that "who knows, if God would sovereignly raise up someone presently not running or a person whom we don't even know about and put them in position." Who else possibly fits that bill but Sarah Palin?

Also, tell me honestly, have you ever heard of anyone running as a VP to receive such overt hostility and obvious disdain by interviewing newscasters, in the history of politics? (Couric, in my view, won the "most rude and obnoxious" category, displaying not even a hint of professionalism or common courtesy. She should definitely lose her position as a chief anchor. No wonder her channel is lowest in ratings among the competition. CBS' evening news broadcast is bound to sink even lower in ratings, as long as they have her at the helm.)

Joe Biden ran for political office, shortly after losing his wife and son to a horrific car accident, yet he continued in politics and held an office where he had to travel out of state daily. Sarah has a loving, willing husband who cares for his children and her office and residence while in office will be in close proximity of each other. By the way, where are all the feminists that champion women's right these days??? You know, their the ones who cry "discrimination" and "sexism" whenever they feel a woman's rights have been violated or ignored. They seem mighty silent now, don't you think? Reason being is that they are not seriously interested in the rights of all women, only women who ascribe to their brand of ideology and ways. They appear absolutely silent, with regard to the dispicable condescending approach leading newscasters took when interviewing Sarah Palin. Feminists' silence reveals what a bunch of biased hypocrites they truly are. Not only is Sarah Palin a woman, she is a female governor of an American state. Yet there is no cry of "foul" being uttered from the previous loud and blatantly "in your face" feminist crowd. Why do you suppose that is? Here is the difficult truth of that answer: Liberal feminists who don't like traditional family values and despise men, hate Sarah Palin because she promotes life and they promote death. She promotes light and they promote darkness. She stands for right and they stand for wrong. They promote sodomy and lesbianism while she promotes healthy sexuality and marriage as God designed, between a monogamous man and woman. They can't stand her because she and her husband walk the talk and they don't. They absolutely cringe when they see her Downs Syndrome baby boy alive and thriving because they have murdered their healthy babies, far more their special needs unborn babies.

Truth is not always easy to swallow, but it remains truth, nonetheless.

When viewing tonight's debate between Palin and Biden, pray for God's purposes to be fulfilled and that fairness will rule over deceipt and bias.
